A small selection of some of the faces I’ve photographed over the years.
I have never considered myself a portrait photographer, preferring to capture folks in less formal settings. Sometimes the job calls me to take a more traditional posed portrait and when this is the case I try to take the photos between the moments when we are saying that we are making the photograph.
Image is a strange thing and I spend much of my lift considering how we like to be represented and anxiously attempting not to misrepresent folks who step in front of my lens. As a slither from the collection of so many hundreds of photographs that I have taken of folks over the years, I think this page says more about me than about those inside these frames.
